Polle van Genechten - Composer, Songwriter & Musician

Biography

Polle van Genechten is a young composer, songwriter and a musician who lives in the Netherlands. He already experienced the world of music from multiple angles and created more than a hundred of songs from which many are officially released.

At the age of 12, Polle's music career started on Dutch television. He wrote his own song and became finalist at the Junior Song Contest in Holland.
In 2012 the Dutch public broadcast corporation NTR made a documentary about Polle's music career. Polle arranged his own song 'Hey Hey' together with Bob Zimmerman and Wouter Hamel, and performed it live on Dutch television with the world famous Metropole Orchestra.

After Polle graduated on his university of music, Polle co-composed the music for the pop/rockband The Overslept that scored several hits in the Netherlands. From 2021, Polle composed, together with Martino Müller and Pieter van Nieuwenhuyze, the music for "Picking The Stars", the musical of the world famous game Honor of Kings in China. Since 2023, he also composes music for films and produces for other artists.
