Wildermiss is a poetic documentary about Elke Tukker, a driven Dutch researcher who has been living in the wilderness of North America for more than eight years. In that same wilderness, 100,000 wild horses live, which are the subject of a controversial and heated debate. Through Elke's personal journey, the film reflects on the question: what is wild, and (how) should we manage it?

Anouk is a documentary filmmaker and journalist. With a background in dance and anthropology. Driven by her endless curiosity, she observes and explores without judgment. She is always searching for stories that reveal the authenticity of everyday life. With a strong sense of justice and an open vision on the world and on people's lives.
